The Diablo IV anniversary rewards are Blizzard’s heartfelt way of showing deep appreciation to the players after a year of battling the ‘ demonic forces of hell.’ The gifts were given to Diablo IV players and Diablo Immortal players, the latter of which is celebrating its second anniversary.
Players will have access to all the gifts from June 6th to 20th. Simultaneously, there will be an increase in Treasure Goblin activity across the sanctuary, with Horadric scholars foretelling the contents of their greed-filled bags rumored to be more expensive than ever.
Blizzard hinted at bonus gold via a lengthy Diablo IV anniversary blog post:” The townsfolk are predicting that greed shrines will appear with more frequency, increasing the wealth of these shrewd goblins. In a more significant twist, in the Dungeons, Goblins supposedly appear in pairs, with some saying a larger pack of them showing up.”
During the two weeks, you can earn a 25% XP bonus and a 50% multiplicative increase in gold for ten days.
According to the official blog post, the bonus applies to seasonal and eternal realms and all world tiers. Also, the bonus stacks; therefore, you should pair it with elixirs and the urn of aggression to maximize your gaming experience while killing monsters.
