New Valorant League Launches in 2025: North/East League

The world of Valorant esports is set to grow with the launch of a New Valorant League: the Valorant Challengers North//East League in 2025. This latest addition to the competitive space merges the existing North and East leagues for the UK and Europe. Esports tournament organizer Mistgamesgg will manage the league.

Bigger League, New Format

The  New Valorant League: North//East League will expand to include 24 teams, a big jump from the previous setup. This expansion aims to give teams from North and East Europe more chances to compete. Mistgamesgg is introducing a new format called “The Mountain.” This format focuses on creating a competitive environment where players can showcase their talent.

Qualifiers Begin in January 2025

The league will start with qualifiers in January. Top teams from Eastern Europe and Northern Europe will secure spots:

Four Teams from Eastern Europe will Qualify

Two teams from the North’s last-chance qualifier will also join.

Teams competing in the 2025 Challengers North will receive direct invites. Based on performance, teams from the East will also get direct entry. Any remaining slots will go to top-performing free-agent teams.

Goodbye ECLIPSE and VALORANT EAST: UNITED

The launch of the North//East League means the ECLIPSE League and VALORANT EAST: UNITED competition will end. Mistgamesgg has stated they are exploring new ways to host regional competitions in the future.

A Growing Scene for Valorant Esports

Mistgamesgg, founded in 2022, has experience organizing Valorant events. The company managed the Polaris League in 2024 for Northern Europe teams. Valorant esports continues to grow, attracting organizers and sponsors like HanseMerkur, which partnered with the DACH league earlier this year. Even non-esports organizations are getting involved. In October, Italian football club Parma Calcio 1913 entered Valorant with a women’s team.

Why this Matters

The New Valorant League: North//East League promises to be a significant step forward for Valorant in Europe. It will provide more opportunities for players and teams while uniting the region’s competitive scene.
