Esports World Cup Begins: Full Calendar

The inaugural Esports World Cup begins, bringing together over 1,500 of the world’s best gamers to Saudi Arabia. The event is set for an eight-week festival of competitive gaming. With a massive prize pool exceeding $60 million up for grabs.

Event Overview

The EWC features 22 tournaments across 21 popular game titles. Gamers will battle it out in a series of smaller tournaments, each dedicated to specific games, including fan favorites like “Street Fighter 6,” “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III,” EA Sports FC ’24,” League of Legends,” Overwatch 2,” and Apex Legends. The action will unfold across multiple arenas (4) within the Boulevard City venue in Riyadh. Start times for games vary from 11 am to 6 pm local time (4 am to 11 am ET). 

Where to Watch

The Esports World Cup 2024 is available to stream online for free via DAZN. Beyond the Esports World Cup, a DAZN account also offers access to select boxing, esports, mixed martial arts, and more.

For more comprehensive coverage, including premium live events, replays, highlights, documentaries, and in-depth analysis, DAZN offers a 30-day free trial. Prizes

In addition to the individual game prizes totaling over $33 million, the EWC will also crown the first-ever Esports World Club champion. The top 16 clubs will split a $20 million prize pool based on their performance across the various tournaments, with the winning team taking home $7  million.
