Diehard Animal Crossing fans, we bring you good news! You can now take your favourite game with you on the go as it hits smartphone stores. Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp mobile is now available for download on iOS and Android stores. It joins Nintendo juggernauts like Pokemon Unite, Fire Emblem Heroes, and Mario Kart Tour on the mobile/switch front.
You can find the new addition under the name Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete. On its initial release, microtransactions plagued the game; a situating players have come to associate with the free-to-play model. Players had to grind for hours or resign to splash the cash to make meaningful progress. Now, you can access resources and in-game currency without spending real cash outside the purchase fee. How much is Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete on mobile stores? The app goes for an affordable $9.99.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp gained more recognition and popularity during the pandemic. The game had existed before the pandemic, but the lockdowns brought a surge of new players to its player base. The new App aims to build its popularity even further.
The game has remained popular over the years, drawing players eager to escape their everyday routines and relax with the cosy and fantastic campsite-building game, regardless of the pandemic bubble. Use over 10,000 things to decorate your campsite, such as swings, tents, merry-go-rounds, and lazy rivers, and make friends while at it.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete Mobile is exactly what you need, whether you want to relive some of the game’s memories or missed the early excitement and want to see how the game works. With this App launch, you can experience all the action without investing in a Nintendo Switch. Does this mean more Nintendo games like Mario & Luigi: Brothership will be coming to mobile as the company tries to tap more into the biggest casual gaming market? Only time will tell.
Initial Release

Previously, Pocket Camp was a free game that could be played on smart devices. Although the game could be played for free, the app had microtransactions that limited access to some features and users had to pay real money to access these features.
However, Animal Crossing was taken offline on November 28, seven years after its initial launch.
The relaunched app gives players access to fresh and old content released over the last seven years. Plus, existing players can move their data to the new app and avoid starting from scratch if they already have a Pocket Camp account saved and connected to their Nintendo Account.
Don’t wait too long to decide if you want to return to your saved game—data transfer is only available until 11 p.m. PT on June 1, 2025. Enjoy the new update, and let’s see if it lives up to the hype, campers! Follow the Stratplays blog for more gaming news.
