Valorant Console Beta Begins and It Is Big

At the 2024 Summer Game Fest, Riot Games announced that Valorant would soon be available on consoles. A few days later, the limited Valorant Console beta went live. It launched at 5:00 a.m. June 15, Japan Time, to players in Japan, the United States, and Canada.

Riot Games limited access to this beta, allowing gamers from selected regions to test the game while prepping for full launch. They also hinted that the beta might be made available to the other areas at the end of this initial rollout phase.

The limited Valorant beta will be available on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5(PS5) consoles. However, the beta rollout is only available to some users in the three chosen countries. You’ll still need to apply and be selected to access the Valorant console beta.

To be part of the Valorant console beta, it’s crucial to follow the application process. Simply click on ‘Apply now’ on the Valorant Beta website and sign in with your Riot Games account. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to create a Riot account. This straightforward process ensures that you’re in the running for a chance to experience the game before its full release.

Selections are random. If you’re selected, you’ll receive access instructions via the email you used to register. You can also boost your chances of selection by participating in the referral contest, where you can refer up to 5 friends.

There’s no telling how long the Valorant console version will remain in its beta phase. But if the console beta release is anything to go by, it’ll only take a few months to get the full experience of one of the most promising games in 2024.
