LoL Worlds 2024 Knockouts to Begin Soon

The LoL Worlds 2024 Knockouts are about to start, where the top eight teams will battle for the title of League of Legends World Champion.  Yes, one the biggest LoL esports event is at its business with T1 hoping to retain their crown from last year. 

Since 2011, the Knockout stage format has stayed the same, with a single-elimination style. The big change came last year when the Group stage was replaced by the Swiss stage. Matchups for the Knockout stage are based on both match records and a random draw. Teams with the best records face those with lower ones.

In this stage, all matches are best-of-five. The quarter finals matches will features teams that went 3-0 going against teams that went 3-2.

Here are the teams qualified for the LoL Worlds 2024 Knockouts and their swiss stage results:

  • Hanwha Life Esports (3-1)
  • T1 (3-1)

  • Quarterfinals: October 17-20, 2024, at Adidas Arena, Paris
  • Semifinals: October 26-27, 2024, at Adidas Arena, Paris
  • Final: November 2, 2024, at The O2 Arena, London

  • October 17: LNG Esports vs Weibo Gaming
  • October 18: Hanwha Life Esports vs Bilibili Gaming
  • October 19: Top Esports vs T1
  • October 20: Gen.G vs FlyQuest
